The National Scientific Society of Inflammation was created to unite specialists in the field of biology and medicine, as well as to promote scientific and medical activities. The goal of the society is to increase interest in the problems, promote modern knowledge in this area, and exchange it between doctors and scientists of different specialties. The largest project of the Association is the Russian Antithrombotic Forum. This is a scientific and educational project of national scale, it attracts cardiologists, neurologists, therapists and specialists from other medical institutions. Over 163 schools in 49 regions of the country have been held over 10 years of the project's existence, with more than 15,000 participants.
